Experiencing racism may harm cognitive health

+Personal note+I can testify to the damaging and  harmful effects of racism on my own cognitive health

Experiencing racism does effect you   I should know I live in a mostly White suburb I actually grew up here as a child My parents bought a house here and raised a family and up until I graduated High school everything was pretty normal I worked a full part- time after school job while also managing the role of Class President of my class for 3 consecutive years . I wrote for the newspaper and was an editor for the yearbook..When I say over achiever I was indeed that so I really  wasn't ready for what was out here after I was forced into the water without a life jacket .

But I'll write more about that later ........
